Fits (engine/year matters — read carefully): This is the non-beveled input clutch retainer (input drum) for Chrysler's A604 Ultradrive four-speed family — badged 40TE, 41TE, 41TES and 41AE — and for the A606/42LE, model years 1990 through 1996. On the A604 side that covers the 2.0L and 2.4L four-cylinders and the 2.5L, 3.0L, 3.3L and 3.8L V6s in the Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan, Plymouth Voyager and Grand Voyager, Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Dynasty and Spirit, Plymouth Acclaim, Chrysler New Yorker, Fifth Avenue, Imperial and LeBaron, Dodge Shadow, Dodge Daytona and Plymouth Sundance, plus the 1995-96 Chrysler Cirrus, Dodge Stratus and 1996 Plymouth Breeze.

Important: The trap is the bevel — and then the casting number behind it. Before you order, do two checks on the drum you are replacing. 1) BEVEL / LIP. Pull your input clutch retainer and look at the machined face where the drum meets the pump stator support. The 1989 drum has a bevel — a chamfered lip around that edge. From 1990 on, that lip is gone and the face is square. This listing is the WITHOUT-BEVEL drum. If your original has the bevel, you have a 1989 unit and this is not a plug-in swap — 1989 also runs the three-ring stator support, while 1990-up runs four rings, so the sealing-ring count on your pump stator has to match the drum you install. Count the rings on your stator: four rings means you are in the right family for this drum. 2) CASTING NUMBER. "No bevel" alone is not enough, because the 1997-and-up drums are also non-beveled but are a different casting. Read the raised casting number on the body of your drum.
