Fits (engine/year matters — read carefully): P1 (input) planet for the Allison 1000/2000/2400 family (LCT1000), 2000-up per WIT - GM Silverado/Sierra 2500HD-3500HD 6.6L Duramax 2001-2019, 8.1L gas trucks, and Allison-equipped GM medium-duty. SECOND DESIGN ONLY: recessed where the P1-to-P2 bearing rides, two washer notches, and it carries the P2 ring gear. 1st-design units use the flat-face carrier (Buffalo 116580A) - match your carrier style before buying.

Important: 1st vs 2nd design are different parts: 1st = FLAT where the bearing rides (no washer notches), 2nd = RECESSED with 2 washer notches + P2 ring gear. Transtar also lists a separate 06-up Hi-Helix P1 gear cut - buyers with Gen4 6-speeds must compare gear helix/photos.
