Fits (engine/year matters — read carefully): Subaru high-torque Lineartronic TR690. The TR690 was used in ALL Subaru CVT applications from May 2009 until March 2014, so early cars of any engine are candidates: Legacy and Outback 2.5L and 3.6R (2010-2014). From March 2014 on, the TR690 stayed only in the high-torque cars — Legacy and Outback 3.6R through 2019.

Important: Identify by WHERE the valve body sits: on the TR690 it is on the BOTTOM of the transmission, on the TR580 it is on the TOP. If yours comes off the top you have a TR580 and this will not fit. This is the GENERATION 1 unit — the 2019-and-up Gen 2 (Ascent) valve body is a different part number. From 2014 on, a 2.0L or 2.5L Subaru is most likely a TR580, not this. Read your transmission tag before ordering and message us if you are unsure.
